Cashmere Care Guide

A Cashmere stole is made to be worn, felt, and kept over time. With the right care, it will retain its softness, texture, and beauty for years.

  • We recommend professional dry cleaning to preserve the fabric’s natural softness and prevent shrinkage.
  • If you prefer to wash it at home, use cold water with a mild detergent or baby shampoo. Handle the fabric gently — avoid wringing or twisting. Instead, softly press out excess water without stretching the weave.
  • Lay it flat on a towel and allow it to dry naturally. Avoid hanging, as this may distort its shape. Keep it away from direct sunlight, letting it dry in shade to maintain its color and texture.
  • Avoid bleach and high heat at all times. Do not tumble dry or apply direct ironing. If needed, a light steam can help restore its natural fall.
  • For storage, fold it neatly and keep it in a breathable cotton or muslin bag. This helps protect it from dust while allowing the fabric to breathe.
